Hayden and Julie met while attending graduate school at the
University of Georgia in 2007 and became fast friends. When they graduated and moved away they
started sharing recipes with each other via snail mail and have since decided
that a blog would be a fun way to share recipes with each other, AND let other
people in on the action. Aren’t
you LUCKY?!
Hayden lives in Greenville, SC with her husband (G) and
puppy (Penny) and their baby girl, Janie (just born in March!). Hayden loves to cook and currently has plenty of time to do
so. Since moving to Greenville,
Hayden spends her days volunteering at a Science Center, playing with Penny,
making jewelry and looking up/cooking up new recipes. Hayden has quite the sweet tooth, so
expect lots of desserts.
Julie now lives in KY (by way of NY, GA, WY &
CO) with her husband (The Squatch), her daughter (The Beeb, born May 2011!) and 2 puppers (The Duff & The Durf). Julie and Squatch have a great love for the outdoors and
spend a lot of time exploring the country via our National Parks. Julie also
enjoys making homemade goods (lip balms, canned goods, crafty baby things…). Be on the lookout for Julie’s creative
